Celebrate Eid in the heart of Tenderloin with delicious food, free family activities, and a special performance by MC Abdul
Celebrate Eid al-Fitr and the rich cultures of the Tenderloin on Saturday, April 5th, 2025 from 12:00-5:00 PM on Jones St and Golden Gate Ave in San Francisco.
Eid al-Fitr is a celebration of the end of the holy month of Ramadan in Islam. This holiday is celebrated by Muslims, and many non-Muslim people of SWANA (Southwest Asia and North Africa) heritage.
This street fair is an annual gathering organized by organizations and residents of the Tenderloin for the youth of the Tenderloin. The event is being scaled up this year due to the rising hate that local Muslim and SWANA communities are facing.
Enjoy free kids activities and performances, including a special set by world famous Palestinian rapper MC Abdul.
Shop from a vibrant bazaar featuring unique goods and pop-up food stalls from neighborhood-based businesses representing the diversity of the Muslim community who call Tenderloin home.

Tenderloin Eid Street Festival is presented by Into the Streets in partnership with the Tenderloin Muslim Youth, the Tenderloin Community School, D5 Supervisor Bilal Mahmood, Tenderloin Community School, TLCBD, Chinatown Community Development Center, SEAD and St Anthony's Foundation with support from EMPIRE, the Golden State Warriors and HalalFest.

يُقدَّم مهرجان عيد الفطر في تندرلوين من قِبَل Into the Streets بالشراكة مع شباب المسلمين في تندرلوين، والمشرف على المقاطعة الخامسة بلال محمود، ومدرسه تندرلوين TCSوTLCBD، CCDC، و SEADC، ومؤسسة القديس أنتوني، بدعم من EMPIRE
